Go to the Beach.

If you love to have fun in the sun, you will be happy to know that there are many beaches in Parga, Greece. There are beaches both in the town and on the outskirts of Parga. You will find that the beaches on the waterfront are smaller yet picturesque. Valtos Beach is over one kilometer in length. There is a footpath that connects Valto Beach to Parga. You can get to Valtos Beach by going to the Venetian Castle and going down the hill on the other side. The beach will be in walking distance. You will find many tavernas nearby, which means you can eat meals or snacks there. You can pay just seven Euros for an umbrella along with two beds for the whole day.

Undoubtedly, the Venetian Castle is one of the main attractions in Parga. You will need to walk uphill to see the Venetian Castle, which is in ruins. There, you will be able to see a “lovely view” of Parga. Be sure to bring some goods shoes for the walk, because the trails can be rough. You will be able to stop by a cafe for a caffeine beverage to recharge before heading back down. If you decide to eat lunch or dinner at the castle, you should watch for the bird life. There is no entrance fee for the castle. Be sure to watch your young children on the trail as there are some dangerous corners.

Visit Paxos and Antipaxos.

You can take a charter boat on a Thursday to Paxos and Antipaxos, which are nearby islands, from the Parga Pier. The charter boat departs at 10:00AM and returns to Parga at 6:00pm. The cost of the trip is 25 Euros. You will get to go on a tour of the island and stop for some coffee or a meal at one of the villages. Then, you will be taken to a beach on Antipaxos in the afternoon to swim.
